For a machine manufacturer, shipping equipment to a customer is only one part of the job.
The more important part comes after the machine arrives.
This CHM-A4-2 project in Uganda has now reached that stage. The machine has been successfully delivered to the customer's factory, installed and commissioned by the CHM engineering team, tested on site, and officially put into production.
We have real photos and videos from the customer's factory, showing the installation process and the machine running after commissioning.
From China to Uganda
The CHM-A4-2 is an A4 Paper Cut Size Production Line designed to convert paper rolls into finished A4 copy paper. For a customer starting or expanding A4 paper production, the line brings the main production steps together in one system, from paper roll sheeting to finished reams.
But every factory is different.
Paper specifications, production requirements, working conditions and available space all need to be considered when installing and commissioning a new line. This is why the work on site matters.
For this Uganda project, CHM engineers travelled to the customer's factory and worked through the installation and commissioning process together with the local team.
Installation is only the beginning
A new machine can look impressive when it is standing in a factory.
What really matters is what happens when the machine starts running.
During commissioning, the engineering team checks the machine operation, production settings and paper running condition. The line needs to move from an installed piece of equipment to a working production system.
Once testing was completed successfully, the CHM-A4-2 was ready for the customer's production.
And that is the part we wanted to capture in this project.
The photos show our engineers working at the customer's factory. The videos show the machine after installation and testing. There is no showroom setup and no computer-generated production scene.
It is simply the machine where it belongs — on the customer's production floor.
A real customer project
For us, an overseas project is not finished when the container leaves China.
The real milestone is when the equipment arrives safely, is installed correctly, passes testing and starts doing the work it was purchased for.
This is especially important for customers investing in an A4 Paper Sheeter Machine or a complete A4 paper production solution. They are not simply buying a machine. They are putting new production capacity into their factory.
That is why installation and commissioning are such an important part of the project.
In Uganda, the CHM-A4-2 has now completed that journey.
Delivered. Installed. Tested. Running.

The successful installation of this machine also gives us another opportunity to see how CHM equipment is being used in overseas markets.
Every customer project teaches us something. Different paper grades, factory environments and production requirements can bring different challenges. Working directly with customers on site also gives our engineers a better understanding of what happens after a machine leaves our factory.
That experience continues to shape how we build, install and support our equipment.
For this customer in Uganda, the next chapter is production.
